MEHEP is a forum wherein individuals can share their opinions, experiences and thoughts related to mental health. Participants of this forum should agree to adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Do not send information that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, distressing, defamatory, vulgar, hateful or obscene, that may be invasive of another's privacy, especially those aimed at gender, race, color, sexual orientation, national origin, religious views or disability.
2. We invite and encourage a healthy exchange of opinions. If you disagree with a participant's post or opinion and wish to challenge it, please do so with respect. Name- calling, insults, and personal attacks are not appropriate and will not be tolerated. If you believe something you read is inaccurate, harmful, inflammatory, unreasonably injurious to any person, or written in poor taste please bring it to our attention immediately. Upon notification, we will determine for ourselves whether we agree that the text is offending and/or inaccurate. We will do our best to remove the post in question as quickly as possible after we become aware of the problem.
3. We promote privacy and encourage participants to keep personal information such as addresses and telephone numbers from being posted.
4. The opinions, beliefs and statements posted on the website do not necessarily represent the opinions and beliefs of MEHEP. MEHEP reserves the right to report any suspicions of harm to self or others as evidenced by participant posts.
5. Areas of the site that requires sign-in or accessing are restricted to users 13 years of age or older. Persons under 13 years of age are prohibited from registering for access to, or signing in to these areas. We shall not be held liable for consequences resulting from persons below 13 years of age registering for access to or signing in to the site.
6. It is against our rules to advertise or solicit any business without our permission. Solicitation includes, but is not limited to, requests to be emailed, the posting of phone numbers for your business, and the posting of a website address, if that site has a commercial element to it. MEHEP will not be held liable for any consequences that result from the dispersal of unsolicited email by unknown third parties to our readers.

Violation of these rules will result in deleting or editing of posting.
